Get paid on the day the work is done

The gap between finishing a job and getting paid is money you have already earned, sitting in someone else’s account. Closing that gap is the fastest cash-flow win most service businesses have available, and it costs nothing but a change of habit.

Get paid

Every day between the work and the deposit is a day you are financing your customer for free. Do it across dozens of open invoices and you are running a small lending operation you never signed up for, complete with the awkward follow-up calls.

Invoice before you leave

The single biggest lever is timing. An invoice built from the completed work order, handed to the customer while the tech is still on site, gets paid at a rate a mailed invoice never will. The work is fresh, the customer is happy, and the payment is one tap on a phone.

  • Build the invoice from the job, so line items and photos are already attached.
  • Take card or ACH on site, or send a pay link the customer taps before you drive off.
  • Collect a deposit up front on larger jobs so you are never fully exposed.

Make paying the easy path

People pay fastest when paying is frictionless. A tap-to-pay link beats "we will mail you an invoice," which beats "call the office with a card number." Every step you remove between the finished job and the payment is money that shows up sooner.

You do not need net-30 unless your customers are other businesses that require it. For most residential and small-commercial work, same-day is simply the default nobody bothered to change.

Ritmas builds the invoice straight from the job and collects by card, ACH, or a pay link on the spot, so getting paid is part of finishing the work, not a separate chase that starts the next week.
